Developed in collaboration with philtersoup, the Asura is the first synth to come out of India. It is a 6-voice hybrid polyphonic desktop synth.

Instead of the conventional VCO-VCF architecture found in most poly synths, the Asura explores the novel modulating waveshaping possibilities offered by the interactions of a digital wavetable engine, a custom analog fuzz circuit and feedback loops.

Features:

• Hybrid: digital wavetables + analog fuzz
• Polyphony: 6 voices, 2 osc per voice
• Oscillators: factory + custom wavetables, optional 2op FM
• Fuzz: special custom circuit for waveshaping, distortion, tone control
• Play modes: 3/6 voice Poly / Unison / Chord / Arpeggiator
• Modulation: 2 LFOs, 2 Envelopes, 1 assignable Pressure Source
• Sequencer: 8-step sequencer with parameter lock, randomizer
• Delay: internal digital delay inspired by colourful hardware delays
• Editor: extensive web editor (VST editor planned)
• MIDI: complete control of all parameters using MIDI-TRS In/Out/Thru, USB-C
• I/O: Audio, Gate, Clock, v/Oct In and Out; 2x CV inputs
• Power: 12V 1A DC adapter / Internal high-quality headphone amp
